bloom

Jesus is our lead story in every room of our House

In fact, He’s our only story – even in bloom. We want to lean in with the families of our House who are raising a generation of children to know and walk in a relationship with Jesus. We want to see the children in our bloom environment not only bloom and grow physically but also bloom in their faith as they learn basic truths about who Jesus is.

We've Created a Place with Your Children in Mind

bloom meets during the 9:30 + 11:30 gatherings just a few doors down from The Lincoln Theatre at 1201 U St NW! This space has been fully renovated to serve as an intentionally designed space for the families of our House every Sunday.

We’ve designed our bloom environment very intentionally to allow worship and teaching to come alive for even the tiniest babies in our House. Each child is assigned to a bloom room based on either age or stage of development.

02

When is my child promoted to the next room in bloom?

Children ages 6 weeks up to 2 years old are promoted developmentally. Children ages 2 to 5 years old are promoted annually in the fall.

03

What is the bloom well child policy?

For the safety + wellness of all, children who show signs of sickness will not be allowed into the bloom environment. We require that children be fever-free for 24 hours (without the use of fever-reducing medications) before entering bloom. This is for the health and protection of all children, families, and Door Holders. You are encouraged to bring your child back to us as soon as he or she is well. If an illness is discovered after a child is in the environment, your child will be separated from the other children and a member of our Staff Team will contact you.
