Jesus is our lead story in every room of our House. In fact, He’s our only story – even in bloom. We want to lean in with the families of our House who are raising a generation of children to know and walk in relationship with Jesus. We want to see the children in our bloom environment not only bloom and grow physically, but also in faith as they learn basic truths about who Jesus is.
We are more than babysitters. We've designed our bloom environment very intentionally to allow worship and teaching to come alive for even the tiniest babies our House. Each child is assigned to a bloom room based on either age or stage of development. All gatherings consist of an age-appropriate story with a "Big Idea," a "Grow Verse" and fun activities.
We have the best Door Holders around who are passionate about helping every child who enters the doors of bloom feel seen, accepted, and more importantly seen, loved and accepted by Jesus. All of our Door Holders have undergone a thorough screening process of interviews, background checks and training.
bloom is offered during the 9:15a, 11:45a and 5p gatherings.
Yes, we offer pre-care for our Door Holders that starts an hour and a half prior to each gathering.
Children ages 6 weeks up to 2 years old are promoted developmentally. Children ages 2 to 5 years old are promoted annually in the fall.
For the safety of all the children in bloom, we place children in rooms developmentally and by their birthday, so your children may not be able to be in the same room.
Upon your arrival to 515, you will be greeted by the Passion City Church Parking Team who will direct you to available parking. For those with young children (age newborn through pre-k), please use your flashers to let the Parking Team know you need to park in a bloom spot within the lot.
Registration opens an hour prior to the gathering. However, the doors to bloom open 30 minutes prior to the gathering. Click here to register your child for bloom.
To minimize the chance of spreading illness, children who show signs of sickness will not be accepted into the bloom environment. We require that children be fever-free for 24 hours before entering bloom. This is for the health and protection of all children and Door Holders. You are encouraged to bring your child back to us as soon as he or she is well. If an illness is discovered after a child is in the classroom, your child will be separated from the other children and a member of our Staff Team will contact you.
Upon recommendation of the American Academy of Pediatrics, a child should not be taken from the home with any of the following conditions:
