Why Christianity Is Not A Crutch

"We have never seen anything like this." How many times have you heard that this week? We're living in unprecedented times to be sure, but are we on our own? Whenever faced with times of uncertainty, doesn't it feel like we hear people taking one of two stances? Either we believe that our hope and confidence is in a sovereign God who always has and will always have a plan for our good and His Glory, or we can believe that in one way or another faith in God is simply a crutch to lean on when we aren't strong enough to face what is right in front of us. But Christianity is not a crutch. — This week Pastor Louie Giglio brings a message that is timely to the days we are living in. Teaching out of Mark 2:1-12 Pastor Louie reminds us of a few critical things: 1. Our faith can move the heart of God and impact the eternal destiny of someone around us. 2. The paralyzed man's problem was bigger than he thought. 3. Jesus didn't offer a crutch. He healed him.
