To be spiritual means to be rightly related to the spirit of GodThe spirit of God is the intimate presence of God. He breathes into us the breath of life. God wants to be as close to you and I as the breath in our lungs. “The spirit of God is the intimate, animating presence of God in human life.”Our challenge for you today is to talk to God honestly about your desire to be spiritual. Have an open conversation with Him about it.

Life is hard, but there are promises to grip. Strategies and tactics to employ. Progress to be made. Flee evil and pursue intimacy with your Creator. Uproot what is broken and cultivate what is life-giving. Make war on what is destructive, and rest in the God who loves you. Are you ready to walk elegantly through the battlefield of life?
